For those like me whose eyes aren't used to reading Gothic Script with chunks of the letters missing, here it is with capitals and punctuation added:
"I'm so goth
when I walk into a room
you hear 'Toccata & Fugue in D Minor'.
And here's the YouTube link so you can appreciate the music as well!
That is one awesome organ there! I think Toccata & Fugue is one of my most favourite pieces of music. Man, the spouse really has to get the turntable set up after we move - I miss all my old LP's! The word LP, if nothing else, really gives away my age ... LOL
ReplyDeleteThat's a nice font, though - I like it!
I like the font, too, I just had a LOT of trouble reading it!
DeleteHehehe, I'm an LP person, too. Martin bought me a LOVELY "vintage look" combination LP/cassette/CD/radio last Yule, and I'm SO happy to be able to play my records again!! Some I had replaced with cassettes or CDs, but some you just can't do that with, and anyway it's not the same.
I'm a sucker for blokes who play the bloody pipe-organ ;)
ReplyDeleteROFL!!!
DeleteGiggle a bit. You know, I have that song as a doorbell in my home. It has been my wish since I was a kid to have a doorbell like that. My geeky boyfriend has achieved it for me. But we changed it temporary to Willy wonka with a moving object in the door window, A rabbit jumping out of his basket and a chicken peaking out of an egg. that was for easter so it's time to change it back to the original :D
ReplyDeleteI love that piece of music, too! And it would be AWESOME to have that as our doorbell 'music'... The only problem is that we have a couple of kids in our complex who like to push doorbells and run, I have a feeling it would only get worse if they heard THAT music!! ;-)
DeleteAhaha! this is awesome.
ReplyDeleteShould we invite him to join the meetup group??? ;-)
DeleteHahaha, this is wonderful xD Couldn't help but giggle myself xD
ReplyDeleteI know, it's just so deliciously bizarre! ;-)
DeleteI've loved Toccata & Fugue since I first heard it in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. After I got a cell with an mp3 player, many people around me have been forced to listen to it, too. Even with the earbuds in. XD
ReplyDeleteAll I can say to that is... you have great taste in music, so it's good to share it with others! ;-)
